On 18th and 19th October, Tallinn Creative Hub will host the 15th annual Tallinn Vegan Fair, inviting everyone to explore a deliciously diverse array of plant-based products and the vibrant vegan lifestyle.
There’s never been a better time to discuss a life that doesn’t depend on animals for human benefit. Faced with the climate crisis, lifestyle illnesses, and frequent livestock disease outbreaks, Tallinn Vegan Fair offers people the chance to explore, taste, and buy a fantastic range of plant-based foods. Visitors can browse vegan products and services, attend interesting talks, and participate in captivating workshops – think of the Vegan Fair as a theme park for the vegan world, where both adults and children will find plenty to marvel at!” says Jesper Veber, project manager for the event.
This year, Tallinn Vegan Fair is celebrating a birthday as well! What began in the Solaris Centre atrium in 2011 has grown into the largest vegan event in the Baltics, attracting exhibitors, speakers, and visitors from Estonia, across Europe, and even further afield. Expect engaging presentations, hands-on workshops, the popular film screening, and a larger, improved kids’ area with a dedicated programme.
“We’re going all out for our anniversary – for the first time ever, we’ll have more international guest speakers than local ones,” shares content manager Karmen Korjus. Over the two days, topics will range from the future of food production and the plant-based milk revolution to running ultramarathons fuelled purely by plants. This year highlights farm animal sanctuaries and the invaluable lessons they teach us about animal welfare, psychology, and healing. There’ll also be discussions about the health impacts of processed plant foods, advertising of animal-based products, and using social media for animal advocacy.
For the first time, Tallinn Vegan Fair will host an exhibition of products that you won’t find in your local vegan aisle, which are hidden among everything in the store, yet are perfect for anyone aiming to make more animal-friendly choices. There's plenty to explore at the exhibition, whether you’re a seasoned vegan or just vegan-curious.
Tallinn Vegan Fair takes place on Saturday from 11 am to 6 pm and on Sunday from 11 am to 4 pm. Presale tickets are €10 (available until 17 October) and €12 at the door. Children aged 12 and under enter free. Tickets can be purchased through Fienta (link below) or at the venue during the event.
Tallinn Vegan Fair is organised by OÜ Vegekspert, a dedicated vegan event marketing team. The event is made possible by Estonia's own oat drink producer YOOK, European quality food supplement giant Pharma Nord, high-end blender producer Blendtec , and a tasty plant-based milk alternatives manufacturer Deary.
