This weekend, Tallinn Vegan Fair at Tallinn Creative Hub invites everyone to dream big.

Veganmess

This Saturday and Sunday, October 12th and 13th, the 14th Tallinn Vegan Fair will be held at Tallinn Creative Hub. The event will feature a range of plant-based products and the vegan lifestyle. Over the course of two days and across two stages, there will be discussions, presentations, a film screening, and workshops. A kids’ area will also be open for fun and exploration.

“This year, the central theme of the fair is dreaming. We invite everyone to dream big and imagine the kind of environment they want to live in, their culinary dreams, or what a dream world might look like,” said Regly Johanson, project manager of the Tallinn Vegan Fair. “Over the two days, we’ll bring inspiring talks and panels to the stage designed to fuel and lift those dreams even higher,” Johanson added.

Both Saturday and Sunday will feature renowned and exciting speakers from both home and abroad. On October 12th, the main stage will host a video link-up with the world-famous Ed Winters, also known as Earthling Ed. He’s a renowned British vegan, animal rights activist, public speaker, YouTuber, content creator, and bestselling author. His YouTube talk, “You Will Never Look at Your Life in the Same Way Again,” has been viewed over 4.6 million times to date. Then on Sunday, Ken Spector, one of the co-owners of the popular HappyCow app and platform, will speak about the latest vegan trends. HappyCow is the world’s leading guide to vegan and vegetarian restaurants and stores.

Over two days, visitors can attend panels and talks on topics such as developing and launching vegan products in major retail chains, reducing food waste, plant intelligence, vegan soldiers on the Ukrainian front line, vegphobia, and pet care culture. Practical workshops include discussions for parents of vegan children, growing vitamin-rich microgreens, making vegan cheeses and natural cosmetics, and modern, compassionate, animal-centred dog training.

On stage and in workshops, you can hear from experts like Tiina Toomet, Jaan Mettik, Maru Metspalu, Meelik Samel, Marit Mäesaar, Mikk Mägi, and other specialists in their fields.

At the fair, the documentary film “Eating for Tomorrow” (USA) will be shown, narrated by Oscar-winning Kate Winslet. The film features voices like Sir Richard Branson, Tony Robbins , and the world’s leading ocean scientist Sylvia Earle. . The screening will be preceded by a video call with producer Mark Galvin.

During a charitable flash tattoo event, visitors can adorn themselves with vegan tattoos while supporting the animal-friendly beauty programme LILU.
