Last weekend, Tallinn Vegan Fair marked its 15th anniversary at the Creative Hub, welcoming more than 3,000 visitors from near and far. Over 60 companies and organisations presented a wide range of vegan-friendly products and services.
For the first time in the fair’s history, visitors could explore a dedicated vegan product exhibition featuring items that don’t usually appear on the “vegan shelves” of regular stores. This special exhibition area—where visitors could discover, taste, and purchase lesser-known vegan products—was a clear crowd favourite and is set to return for the 2026 fair.
Another major addition this year was a dedicated programme for the kids’ area. Alongside the usual playful activities, younger visitors could join children’s yoga classes, explore exhibits from the Estonian Maritime Museum, and learn how to make marmalade using agaric. To accommodate everything, the kids’ area covered more than 300 square metres. As anticipated, the children’s programme proved extremely popular, and the organising team is committed to turning it into a long-standing tradition.
Across the main stage and workshops, more than 25 speakers took part, most of whom travelled from abroad. Over two days, visitors enjoyed inspiring talks on topics such as farm animal sanctuaries, resilience in vegan activism, the future of food, health, and endurance sports fuelled by plant-based nutrition. In the workshops, participants got hands-on experience making vegan cheese, joined Maru Metspalu and Pisirohe to learn how to prepare plant-based dishes with Blendtec blenders, and received practical advice from Pharma Nord on when supplements are genuinely necessary. The weekend programme also featured a joint screening of the documentary “Food for Thought”, followed by a live discussion with one of the film’s creators and lead, Dan Richardson.
Tallinn Vegan Fair is organised by Vegekspert OÜ. The 2025 sponsors were Estonia’s own oat drink producer, YOOK; one of Europe’s largest supplement manufacturers, Pharma Nord; premium blender brand Blendtec; and Deary, a producer of delicious plant-based dairy alternatives. Tallinn Vegan Fair 2026 will take place on 10–11 October, once again at the Creative Hub.
